Reaching Us Via Bus Or Subway
Montgomery County RideOn Bus Route 23 (between the Friendship Heights Metro station and Sibley Hospital) and Route 29 (between the Bethesda Metro station and the Friendship Heights Metro station) and Metrobus Route D5 (the rush-hour-only MacArthur Boulevard – Georgetown line) stop directly in front of Glen Echo Fire Department. Riders can transfer from Route 23 and Route 29 to the Friendship Heights or Bethesda stations on the Metro Red Line. Reaching Us Via Bike On The Capital Crescent Trail
Pedal along the Capital Crescent Trail until you reach the bridge over Massachusetts Avenue, then take Massachusetts Avenue north 0.75 miles until you reach us on the left side of the street.
Reaching Us Via Car From The Beltway (I-495)
To reach Glen Echo Fire Department from the Beltway (I-495), exit at River Road (Maryland Route 190) and travel 2.25 miles towards Washington, DC. Make a right turn at Goldsboro Road (Maryland Route 614) and travel 0.5 miles, then turn left turn onto Massachusetts Avenue (Maryland Route 396) and travel 0.5 miles. The firehouse will be on the right.
Reaching Us Via Car From Washington, DC
To reach Glen Echo Fire Department from Washington, DC, travel north on Massachusetts Avenue, NW, then cross into Maryland and proceed 1.5 miles from the DC/Maryland boundary (at Westmoreland Circle). The firehouse will be on the left.
