Conduit Road Fire Board

Conduit Road Fire Board, Inc., is the legal entity that owns and operates Glen Echo Fire Department.  CRFB exists as a result of a session law (1933 Md. Laws, Chap. 183) passed by the Maryland Legislature and signed by Maryland Governor Albert C. Ritchie on April 21, 1933. 

As of October, 2018, CRFB members include:

The board usually meets at 7:30 PM on the second Monday of each month at Glen Echo Fire Department.

Topics scheduled for discussion during the open portion of the November 12 CRFB meeting will include induction of new members, a presentation by architect Rob Manns, consideration of expense reimbursement requests, the MCVFRA meeting on November 15, potential acquisition of a new ALS chase car and other vehicles, construction finances, bylaw updates, purchase order authorizations, switching banks to Sandy Spring, and other items.
